Changing Lives Through the Power of Tennis
Our mission extends beyond tennis, creating a lasting impact in Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso County, Texas. We foster inclusion, expand access, and inspire growth on and off the court through grants, scholarships, and programs.
-
Empowering Adaptive Athletes
We believe tennis is for everyone. By investing in players, programs, and resources, adaptive players of all ages and abilities engage in the sport, fostering confidence, connection, and achievement.
-
Supporting Youth Development
From budding athletes to collegiate competitors, we empower young players to thrive. Through grants and scholarships, our recipients have demonstrated personal growth, academic success, and leadership—on the court and in life.
-
Uplifting Underresourced Communities
We strive to bring tennis to neighborhoods where it's needed most, forging partnerships that create opportunities, provide resources, and offer mentorship. Our vision is to build lasting connections and spark hope in communities often overlooked—an aspiration that drives everything we do.
-
Expanding Participation for All
Whether you’re a first-time player or a lifelong fan, we ensure everyone has a chance to pick up a racket and enjoy the game. Our grants and programs are designed to grow the love of tennis at every level.

SWTF Game Changers
Andrew Bogdanov
Andrew Bogdanov has broken into the Top 10 in the world for wheelchair tennis doubles. Competing in four ITF events across England, Georgia, and Louisiana, he earned a straight sets win over France’s No. 1 and pushed Paralympic legend David Wagner to a deciding set. Most recently, he reached the semifinals of a Super Series in Baton Rouge, nearly defeating the reigning Australian Open champion. Now training six days a week, Andrew is preparing for tournaments in Japan, the World Team Cup with Team USA, and a potential US Open wildcard, showing just how far continued support can go.
Phoenix Black Tennis Club
The newly launched Phoenix Black Tennis Club provides a vibrant, culturally inclusive space for adults in Phoenix to connect through tennis. Hosting biweekly beginner and intermediate clinics, the program blends professional instruction with themed events, music, and community-building. The club offers a fun, affordable, and affirming environment for ages 21–65. Grant funds will help expand programming with coaching, equipment, and event support.
Albuquerque Academy
Albuquerque Academy launched a 6-week summer program for 60 rising 5th graders from Title 1 schools. With tennis instruction, creative arts, and academic support through the Vince Cordova Summer Scholars Program, this initiative develops life skills, promotes healthy habits, and cultivates a strong sense of community—all on full scholarship. The program aims to grow into a year-round opportunity for marginalized youth.
