Changing Lives Through the Power of Tennis
Our mission extends beyond tennis, creating a lasting impact in Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso County, Texas. We foster inclusion, expand access, and inspire growth on and off the court through grants, scholarships, and programs.
-
Empowering Adaptive Athletes
We believe tennis is for everyone. By investing in players, programs, and resources, adaptive players of all ages and abilities engage in the sport, fostering confidence, connection, and achievement.
-
Supporting Youth Development
From budding athletes to collegiate competitors, we empower young players to thrive. Through grants and scholarships, our recipients have demonstrated personal growth, academic success, and leadership—on the court and in life.
-
Uplifting Underresourced Communities
We strive to bring tennis to neighborhoods where it's needed most, forging partnerships that create opportunities, provide resources, and offer mentorship. Our vision is to build lasting connections and spark hope in communities often overlooked—an aspiration that drives everything we do.
-
Expanding Participation for All
Whether you’re a first-time player or a lifelong fan, we ensure everyone has a chance to pick up a racket and enjoy the game. Our grants and programs are designed to grow the love of tennis at every level.

SWTF Game Changers
Andrew Bogdanov
Andrew is a wheelchair tennis player from Prescott, Arizona, who started playing just a few years ago. With determination and the support of our foundation, he has quickly risen to become a world-ranked player, traveling extensively on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tour. Currently, Andrew is ranked in the top 20 in the world. Your contributions have helped him offset his high travel costs and have enabled us to establish special wheelchair clinics in his local area. Andrew's journey demonstrates the transformative power of tennis in people's lives.
Juan Pablo Lopez
Juan Pablo is a special needs player who has been integrated into junior tennis with the Foundation’s support over the past few years. We’ve provided him with funds to travel to various events across the United States, including a significant Special Olympics championship in Virginia, which he won. He also triumphed at the USTA National Adaptive Championships in Orlando. Juan Pablo’s success on the court is a shining example of how tennis can empower individuals and help them achieve their dreams.
Programs for After School Success (PASS)
Tennis has a profound impact on youth development. It teaches discipline, improves grades, and fosters better behavior. Young players are more likely to attend college and develop healthy eating habits. Studies show that young tennis players are likelier to experience better academic performance and personal development. Programs like PASS, led by Tony Reyes and Coach Katie Salgado, prepare our youth for college and beyond, instilling values to serve them for a lifetime. Because of their efforts, PASS has been awarded the National Junior Tennis and Learning Chapter of the Year from USTA.
